  • The DR (Dynamic Repulsion) technology is an important addition to this new version. It provides more stability, especially noticeable on off-center hits, which contributes to the control and consistency of the racket. In addition, the new tubings in different shapes improve the frame-string interaction, leading to a larger sweet spot and less shock load.

    Another innovation is the Dual Shut System , which provides excellent vibration dampening thanks to the added Quake Shut Gel in the handle. This makes the EZONE DR 98 the most comfortable racket in the EZONE 98 line to date.

  • During the production process, Yonex conducted extensive testing, including service return analysis, with a focus on the performance of Nick Kyrgios , the figurehead of the new EZONE DR series. The addition of premium grade NANOMETRIC DR carbon graphite offers extra stability and precision. In combination with the Aero Shape shaft construction and the low 31.0 balance, the racket is very manoeuvrable.
